Jason B. Johnson is a fifth-grade educator at Madison STEAM Academy in South Bend, Indiana. His education career includes service as a classroom teacher, Dean of Students, academic coach, intervention teacher, student-teacher mentor, and STEAM educator. He has worked across elementary and intermediate settings with a focus on literacy, student support, behavior systems, MTSS, PBIS, family communication, athletics, and school culture.
Before entering education, Mr. Johnson built more than two decades of professional experience with organizations including AT&T, UPS, Coca-Cola, and Halvor Lines. His work in management, operations, sales, transportation, recruiting, and team development informs a classroom approach centered on organization, accountability, communication, leadership, and future readiness.
His mission is to inspire learning, develop leaders, and create opportunities that transform lives and communities. He believes students learn best when expectations are clear, relationships are strong, instruction is purposeful, and every learner receives the support and challenge needed to grow.
